In this Flash video tutorial you learn how to add this great glint effect to text in Flash CS3 using easy motion tweens, and a mask.
I would like to thank you for the tutorial.
You are great.
Thanks for your tutorial
When I create that mask, both text and glint disappear and I just have a black background…
You need to lock the layers for the mask to become visible.
it wasn’t working for me either would follow it step by step. After i would mask it everything would vanish. I messed around with it for a while and found changing the text to “Static” fixed the problem.
great video btw – hope to see more.
Yes, this tutorial works assuming users have the default settings (in this case for text, Static is default – which is why it wasn’t mentioned).
Great tutorial. I will try it a couple time i learn a lot the first time.
Awesome tutorial. Thank u very much
Thank for you great tuts!
thanks to your tutorials, AWESOME! keep it up!
Wow thanks! This has really helped me to make an amazing intro to an animation I am making. I only have one problem – that it will only mask one of the pieces of text at a time, but I think I can sort it out. 5/5 from me! XP
thank you so much !!!!!!!! keep up the good work !!!

First i wanna say, it’s a great tutorial… But it’s not working for me… everything goes well, but if i enter the mask, i get just a block to see… and not the letter… so somehow i will hide the letters…don’t know what i can do about it… nothing is helping…
can you help?
